In this 'portrait' I loved juxtaposing this sophisticated lady with her playful cat. For so many people, pets are important family members, providing companionship, love and enjoyment.
I used a variety of papers to create this picture, as well as very fine pigma pens and colored pencils.

This is so awesome! It brought to mind one of my best friends who had a grey cat whom she loved very much. This is a perfect rendition of how she enjoyed spending time with him!
what a wonderful portrait--I especially like the expression on the cat's face.
