Spring is Near

"Sunny days
sweeping the clouds away
on my way to where the air is sweet...
Can you tell me how to get,
how to get to Sesame Street?"

Funny how, nearly thirty years after my daughter was a little one, the songs from Sesame Street still reverberate within me - this one on a sunny day, and the Rainy Day song in wet weather! I used to find myself humming them on my way to my part-time job!

We have been having some very lovely sunny days here in New England, and everyone is enjoying the milder weather! I pulled out this older paper cutting to celebrate the hope of Spring which is working its way into my bones! Great things are on the horizon!!!

  1. So pretty and Spring-like! It's definitely warmed up here, but the flowers are still pretty much hiding. I love that Sesame Street song, too...my sister and i were high school volunteers at the local day care center when Sesame Street started...we always made sure the kids came in so they (and we!) could see it.

  2. This creation epitomizes Spring! As always, I love it! It's great to be back for a visit! I love the changes you have made here!

I am desperately trying to get back into my blog routine. I miss it so much. I have been focusing on becoming a Director in The Pampered Chef, so my schedule is much busier than it used to be.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you! Stop by my blog to enter my Harney and Son’s “Irish Breakfast Tea” Giveaway. Just post a comment.

    Best Blessings, KJ
